I’m the type of person who starts listening to Christmas music the minute the clock flips to 12:00 on November 1st, and I know there’s a lot of people out there who think I’m Satan for that – fight me. I just happily subscribe to the notion that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Especially when it’s 65° in South Carolina, and I can rock out with my windows and sunroof open.
But in any case, whether you’re the type who refuses to turn the dial until (at least) December 1st, or if you never allow your Michael Bublé Christmas album to need defrosting, I think we can finally all agree now that it’s December, it’s FINALLY an acceptable time for Christmas music to be played.
Mondays are rough, especially when there are only 3 more until Christmas, but a great playlist always cheers me right up. So I present to you this morning the newest installment of Listen Up: Ho-Ho-Holiday Jams, a collection of some of my very favorite Christmas tunes.
There’s a little something for everyone – from The King to Mariah Carey, classic Christmas favorites to a more punk-rock vibe. Did I miss your favorite? Let me know, so I can add it to the playlist!
